Our History

How it all Began

The Homeopathy Forum in Augsburg started a pilot project in Mostar in 1996. Traumatized people in Bosnia-Herzegovina should, with the help of classical homeopathy, be enabled to process the atrocities of war, as well as the injuries and violations they experienced.
To make our efforts effective and sound, we established contact with various international sections of Homeopaths without Borders. The German Section of Homeopaths without Borders was founded already in September 1997.

More than a thousand female patients were treated free-of-charge in the established teaching practice during the following four years. Almost simultaneously, the first local training unit for teaching Classical Homeopathy to lay people and doctors was launched.

The Mostar project was very successful and was awarded a prize by the Robert Bosch Foundation. The documentation of the project was published as a book, with a description of the project, travel reports and detailed case studies, by Peter Irl Verlag press.

We are happy to share our experience. We offer seminars and presentations on our work in conflict areas, and on treatment of PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). We would be pleased if you contact us, if you represent, for example, a school or other interested organisation.
